With the news that EA are adding microtransactions to Battlefront II I’d like to suggest a Hot Topic. We often use Ocean Descent from PlayStation VR Worlds, which sounds like it might be similar to some of those. With people not used to VR, starting them off with something very simple is vital. GC: We’ve never heard of any of those but we can’t imagine them being responsible for ‘destroying’ PlayStation VR, as you said in your original letter. But as I said, people do ‘cause they feel they need to support VR by buying any old rubbish. And just looking at most of the reviews you know that they are not work downloading. The price of these vary from £7.99 to £11.99. Fated: The Silent Oath, Unearthing Mars, and Apollo II VR. I know this isn’t a lot but would this make you buy a VR unit? And then you have the ‘games’ that every 20 minutes you have to press something. Ones that you just watch something: Virtual Orchestra, Atomic Ghost Fleet, Shark Island, and First Life. Well, you only have to look on the PlayStation Store to see loads of them. You asked what games I was talking about. It’s still possible to not find the Koroks, even with it on, so we don’t think it’ll spoil your enjoyment.Į-mail your comments to: my earlier email regarding non-games damaging PlayStation VR. The Korok mask works much like the Sheikah sensor, but shorter range and with a less annoying noise. It’s quite detailed if you zoom in, but it doesn’t actually tell you if you’ve gone inside places. The map tool just draws a line over the map. I’m looking for these but I keep finding ones like the kid who just wants to see every weapon in the game.

I’ve heard there are some longer quests with good stories. I found out about the survival island quest from an Inbox letter as well, as a few other quests. My fiancée is obsessed with finding them.Īlso, if there’s any time for you, or perhaps a reader, to write a feature on ‘Top 10 side quests’ I’m sure myself and others would find it very useful. Can it tell the difference between having been at the top of a mountain or inside cave at the exact same coordinates?Īnd did you find the Korok tool took the fun out of looking for clues? Or is it just a gentle hint that you still have to explore. How effective is the map exploration tool? This is the main reason for me to buy early, if I do.

GC: In mild defence of World Series, it’s not a full price game – unlike most of the others you mention.Ī couple of questions about your review of the Zelda DLC. This is apparently because I don’t have an official Microsoft hard disk! PS: I tried to play Mashed (original Xbox) on the Xbox 360 via backward compatibility the other day but it wouldn’t work. I ended up buying Toybox Turbos on the Xbox 360 for £8 and an original PlayStation multitap for a tenner, which will enable me to play V3 with seven friends on our next games night (if I can find seven friends). There seems to be a pattern occurring, something akin to your favourite chocolate bars getting smaller and more expensive! Even Mashed has more than its disappointing sequel Wrecked.

This prompted me to look into the more recent Micro Machines iterations (I’ve never owned the 16-bit versions) V4 has 25 tracks, Toybox Turbos has 18, and now World Series has just 10. The graphics are obviously very basic but the tracks are varied and imaginative, and what’s more, there’s nearly 50 of them! Despite the single-player mode being extremely difficult, the multiplayer is still a lot of fun.

After reading yours and a few other reviews of Micro Machines: World Series, and seeing that it only has 10 tracks, I thought I would dig out my original PlayStation to play Micro Machines V3, just to see how it played.
